HoseBeGone…Wall Mount

The HoseBeGone actually works best inserted between your mattress and box spring… however everyone’s situation is different.

We have a wall mount that can be attached to the wall or possibly the rear of a wooden headboard. The wall mount comes with screws designed to fasten to a solid surface such as wood studs or the rear of a wood headboard. Warning: Make sure if you are affixing to wallboard or similar surface there is a wall stud your screws can affix to. Also, make sure if you are affixing to the rear of your headboard, your screw length does not exceed the width of your headboard (to avoid going through the headboard)!

Although the basic HoseBeGone has been designed to be effective exactly the way it is sold. It is designed to allow the hose to extend and retract, allowing the hose to fall between the mattress and headboard.

Some people may want to use counterweights. Again, these are not needed for the majority of CPAP users, however there may be some who would prefer their hose to retract more quickly when used with the HoseBeGone. Some who have extra long CPAP hose may also choose a counterweight to help with an extra long hose length. They may benefit from the use of a counterweight. The kit comes with two counterweights which have different weights.
